Phoenix Fire Community Outreach dba Arizona Compassion in Action (AZCIA) is a 501-C3 corporation. Founded in 1991, the organization serves those in need with essential food, clothing and other items. The organization is run by an unpaid board of directors.
As a virtual organization, there are currently little or no fixed assets owned - no vehicles, no storefront, etc. Volunteers donate time, use of phones, vehicles and gas, etc. Storage of non-perishable items takes place a series of temporary storage lockers donated by various storage organizations.

We channel your gifts into programs that not only meet immediate needs but also empower individuals towards self-sufficiency. Cash donations go toward covering our operating expenses - limited marketing, communication, legal and admin, fees, etc. Our next immediate needs are:

a warehouse and small office space for collecting and storing non-perishables in one place

funding for dedicated part-time admin to help coordinate drop-offs and pick-ups on a regular basis
